At the board meeting today, October 8, the Mountain View-Los Altos High School District Board voted 5-0 to give physical education credit to the cheer and dance teams.

The board voted after hearing from multiple speakers, all of whom spoke in favor of giving the students credit. The speakers included both parents and students. The board had heard speakers on both sides at previous meetings.

Joe Mitchner proposed the motion and Judy Hannemann seconded it.
