On Saturday, October 25, the administration shut down the school’s homecoming dance in the large gym 30 minutes early due to alleged substance use. After one student vomited in the gym, Principal Wynne Satterwhite told students to exit the gym and leave campus as soon as possible. Paramedics and police arrived on campus during the dance. Satterwhite has not yet been available for comment.
