The awnings on the pool deck broke due to the severity of the wind during the boys swim practice today, March 27.
“We had tents set up along the bleachers and a gust of wind came and just broke all the tents,” boys swim coach Chris Love said. “It just bent the tents.”
According to Love, the tents are probably going to be replaced and new ones will be added as soon as possible.
“Something like this has never happened before,” Love said. “We don’t have tents to cover the bleachers anymore.”

Swim practices and games will go on as planned with or without the awnings.
