Talon Top 5: Movies for Romantic Occasions

The Talon explores several sexy movies to watch with your significant other

1. Knocked Up

“Knocked Up” is about a girl (Katherine Heigl) who is impregnated by a boy (Seth Rogen, and the consequences of unprotected fornication. Besides being a witty comedy, this movie is also great to watch with your lover because it provides a valuable lesson: Do not have random sex without using a condom, especially while drinking. If this lesson does not apply to you and your honeybee, then abstinence is the way to go!

2. What Women Want

In this movie, Mel Gibson acquires every man’s dream: He can read any woman’s mind at will, learning the secrets of what to say, the perfect date and unforgettable sex. Boys, let your girl make fun of you. Admit you don’t know everything there is to women, because it’s the perfect opportunity to ask without seeming desperate or unexperienced. This movie can never go wrong, because it gives girls a laugh while giving boys a few pointers on what their girlfriend secretly desires.

3. Fight Club

“Fight Club” is the type of movie guys watch to feel “macho.” But besides that, the movie is truly amazing—Edward Norton and Brad Pitt star as two friends who begin a fight club as a form of psychological support. The movie has intense action to keep boys interested, and girls, if you aren’t into the whole “fighting to feel like a man” thing then no problem. Instead of focusing on the action, just focus on Brad Pitt’s sex-god abs, which are luckily shown for about 99 percent of the movie. That’s no joke.

4. How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days

Magazine writer Andie Anderson (Kate Hudson) begins to date advertiser Benjamin Barry (Matthew McConaughey) to use him as a tool to write an article about how to lose a guy in 10 days demonstrating all mistakes women make in relationships. At first this movie may look like a chick flick. However, “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” has a hidden secret: It’s the perfect opportunity to tell your boyfriend or girlfriend what pisses you off about them without getting serious. Talk about multi-tasking.

5. Into the Blue

This movie is the perfect median between a manly movie and a chick flick. “Into the Blue” is about Jared (Paul Walker) and his girlfriend Sam (Jessica Alba) who find hidden treasures from a shipwreck in the Caribbean. Throughout the movie, the guy watching will be glued to Jessica Alba’s flawless physique while the girl drools over Paul Walker and his perfectly tanned body. By the time the movie ends, both you and your partner will probably be turned on. Two words: Happy ending.
