The boys and girls swim teams participated in preliminary trials yesterday, May 2 and today, May 3. The trials determined the 16 swimmers from each team who will be participating in each event during the El Camino League’s combined trials tomorrow, May 4.

“Everybody really pushed themselves,” senior Nicole Larsen said. “They all came to do their very best. Some people were using this as their last chance to get CCS.”

Many of the boys and girls qualified to participate in the El Camino League’s combined trials for a variety of events.

“I think we can we can win, but it’s going to be close,” senior Alex Smith said.

The finals will be held tomorrow, May 4 at Mountain View High School at 2:30 p.m.
