Students, Staff Participate in Winter Sports Assembly
The school hosted a winter sports assembly in the large gym after fourth period today, January 20.
Between performances by both the dance and cheer teams, the captains of several winter sports teams, including basketball, soccer and wrestling, acknowledged the coaches of their respective sports and recognized the players of each team.
In addition, the club presidents of Model UN, Interact, Slam Poetry, Mock Trial and Haiti Solidarity spoke about what their clubs have accomplished over last semester and brought up upcoming events they have planned for the future.
ASB also presented Assistant Principal and former English teacher Galen Rosenberg with the “Tireless Teacher Award.”
All four classes faced off for the final event: a sleeping bag race, from which the Senior Class emerged as victor.

Ma oltre non è lecito sperare:non siamo una squadra, ci si muove singolarmente e se abbiamo aperto una striscia di successi consecutivi è grazie al grande dislivello sul piano tecnico che grava sulla serie A e ad un pizzico di fortuna (non ho dimenticato Julio Cesar, decisivo anche stasera).
