Tore Chin – Gymnastics
Having been on varsity gymnastics since freshman year, senior Tori Chin is an experienced gymnast.
Tori began her gymnastics career at the age of five.
“I really just started it for fun, but as I progressed through the levels I just got more serious about it,” Tori said.
She was on a club gymnastics team at Goldstar Gym for 10 years before dropping out due to time commitment issues. But she soon picked it back up when performing for the school.
She is now going into her senior year and her fourth year on varsity and is the only member on the varsity team this year. Although she is not planning on being a gymnast in college, she is not willing to give up her athletic career and plans to go into horseback riding in college.

Mat Snider – Baseball
Sophomore Mat Snider is one of three underclassmen playing varsity baseball this year. After completing a quick year on JV and coming up for CCS, Matt is now an essential player for the baseball team this year.
Mat started his baseball career at the age of five and has never turned back since.
“I started out in Little League and then moved to Pony, finally playing travel ball,” Mat said.
Drawing inspiration from his dad, Mat has worked more than hard to get where he is today. His favorite position is shortstop, but he looks to play some third baseman and middle infield for the high school team.
When asked, Mat said that his favorite part of the game is, “probably just the competition and the fact of failure over success.”
