Over the summer, former Spanish teacher Señor Allen announced that he was leaving the school. Allen was a teacher at Los Altos for five years, during which he taught a number of Spanish classes including Spanish 3 Honors, AP Spanish 4 and Spanish 2.

“Los Altos High School is by far the best teaching experience I have ever encountered in my 12 years of teaching experience,” Allen said.  “Parents, staff and most importantly the students made my time at LAHS superb.”

However, his time at Los Altos has come to an end since he now looking to spend more time with his family in Kentucky. According to the Facebook post that he made announcing his leave, Allen will be “perfecting” his surfing in Bali. He will also be spending his time enjoying one of his favorite pastimes, travelling. Allen plans on going to Europe where he has the opportunity to teach.

“I will miss Los Altos High and will always be an ‘eagle’ in my heart,” Allen said.
