The administration announced today, January 23, that it would be distributing new parking permits to students.
The school will be administering around 25 new parking permits.
“I feel really happy that we can honor the kids,” Assistant Principal Cristy Dawson said.
In the past, the school had given new parking permits later on in the year, but this is the first year that the school is releasing such a large amount. The money received from the parking permits will be used toward the school facilities and the parking lot. The students who will be receiving the permits have previously asked to buy them. No more permits will be sold at the moment.
“I’m excited we can do this,” Dawson said. ““I think this is going to make a lot of kids happy, which makes me happy.”
