The Sadie Hawkins Dance was held in the large gym on Friday, March 23.

The dance was nearly cancelled earlier in the day due to low ticket sales. As of second period, only about 100 tickets had been purchased.

“[Assistant Principal Cristy Dawson] thought that a lack of people could hurt the reputation of the dance,” ASB member sophomore Nathan Soo said.

Dawson made an announcement about the dance Friday morning encouraging students to purchase tickets. Ultimately, after more tickets were sold, the dance went on as planned.
