The boys varsity water polo team played its first in-league game of the season Tuesday, September 7, against the Harker School. Although Los Altos lost with a score of 8–14, the team still used the game as an opportunity to implement the offensive and defensive plays that they have been working tirelessly on during practices.
The Eagles made a strong comeback in the second and fourth quarter to bring them back within 5 goals, but ultimately fell just short of a full comeback. However, this didn’t deter those in the stands, and throughout the game parents and students from both schools were cheering, glad to finally be back on deck to support the team.
