PAW Club Hosts Bake Sale, Addresses Animal Testing

The People for Animal Welfare (PAW) club held a bake sale after sixth period on Wednesday, January 25.

PAW, a club that deals with multiple issues such as animal abuse, puppy mill awareness and animal shelter help around our community, plan to use the money raised to address animal testing in upcoming projects.

The fundraiser went relatively well, and the club raised roughly under $100. The club has not yet planned the specific organizations they will be directly donating to.

“Our main goal was to sell as much as we could and have people come up to ask questions about what our club is all about,” President sophomore Amanda Choy said. “I think we fell a bit short on the selling part but we had many people asking about our club, which was great.”
