Latinos United Walking Forward (LUCHA) and the Latino Student Union (LSU) held a posada dinner in the school cafeteria from today, December 14, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

“Basically, everything is free,” LSU President senior Glenda Vargas said. “It’s sort of a potluck put together by all the Latino parents involved in the community. LSU is providing the main dish, which is tostadas.”

The event featured a variety of performances.

“LSU Dance will perform,” Glenda said. “Also, Laura Yedra will be singing. There will be a family singing as well.”

The posada also included other activities to entertain the guests.

“There will also be a raffle with small prizes,” Glenda said.
