LAHS employee arrested for sexual assault of a minor

Los Altos High School campus supervisor Silvio Yoc-Aguilar was arrested last Tuesday, November 29 on several counts of sexual assault of a minor, according to a press release from the San Jose Police Department (SJPD).

At the time of the alleged assaults, Yoc-Aguilar worked as a counselor for a youth program, New Hope For Youth, and was assigned to Hubbard Media Arts Academy, an elementary and middle school in San Jose, Calif., where the assault took place.

According to an email from Principal Wynne Satterwhite, LAHS has received no information suggesting that any similar incidents occurred at this school during the past four months that Yoc-Aguilar worked here. Yoc-Aguilar will not return to campus.
