Lacrosse Defeats Woodside Wildcats
The lacrosse team defeated Woodside 13-10 yesterday, April 23. Despite losing 6-17 in its previous encounter with Woodside, the team managed to win by pushing themselves harder.
“The first game, we just weren’t going hard enough, we weren’t going hard on every ground ball, while everyone this game was working as hard as they could to win every ball and to mark everyone,” sophomore Matt Schonher said.
Sophomore AJ Guralas led the team offensively, scoring eight of the Eagles 13 goals.
Now that the Eagles handed Woodside its second loss in league, the two teams are tied for first place in the league. The Eagles have two more games left, which they will need to win to guarantee a spot in CCS.
