The Focal Project

The Biden administration announced yesterday that it will end its free COVID-19 at-home test distribution program.

Yesterday, the government announced it will be suspending its system to order free COVID-19 tests this Friday, September 2. The ordering website,, attributes the suspension to “Congress [not providing] funding to replenish the nation’s stockpile of tests.”

Tests can still be ordered through until this Friday, September 2. A name and shipping address is necessary, and users can enter an email to track their order, but no payment or health insurance information is required.
