Girls Soccer Defeats Homestead 1-0
The varsity girls soccer team defeated Homestead High School 1-0 today, January 14, in a closely fought game.
The Eagles played well throughout the game, controlling the ball in both halves of the match. Midway through the first half, sophomore Allie Crum scored the game’s only goal. The Eagles retained good possession for the remainder of the game and fended off the Homestead Mustangs with solid defensive play.
The Eagles showed strides as they won their third game this season. The team aims to improve offensively and maintain better organization in all facets of the game.
The team will resume play this Wednesday, January 16, as it takes on Gunn High School.
