The girls basketball team played against Monta Vista on Tuesday, January 21. The Lady Eagles dictated play and limited Monta Vista to few points, winning 43-25.
“We did a much better job passing through their press and defense so we were able to score quite a few easy layups,” senior Meghan McDermott said. “Overall I’m really proud of how we played.”
This win brought the team’s league record to 4-0, its overall record to 12-3 and its game win streak to 11, with its last win being a narrow victory against league opponent Saratoga last week. The Lady Eagles’ next match will be this Friday, January 24, at Homestead, where they hope to continue their win streak.
