On a more somber note, indie-electro duo Crystal Castles has released two darker singles for free. In a statement included with their release, lead singer Alice said “I didn’t think I could lose faith in humanity any more than I already had, but after witnessing some things, it feels like the world is a dystopia where victims don’t get justice and corruption prevails. I’m one step away from being a vigilante to protect people and bring justice to the people I love. I’ve thought about it.” These free tunes seem to reflect her frustration and are beautifully produced pieces. Grab them and her album III, dropping Nov. 6.

G-Eazy has been making waves in the blog-o-sphere after dropping his 10 track mixtape “Must Be Nice” for free, solidifying his place as my favorite artist of the week.
