Football Loses 14-35 to Monta Vista

The varsity football team lost to Monta Vista High School 14-35 on Friday, October 26. With only 16 healthy players on the roster, the Los Altos High School football team was abnormally small this game.

The game, although a loss, ended with an exciting finish. The crowd that stayed until the end of the game witnessed two touchdowns within the third and fourth quarters along with a two point conversion after the second touchdown.

After a slow start for the Eagles in the first two quarters, senior Michael Andris came up with a big play in the third to give the team momentum. Michael rushed down the field for over thirty yards, setting the team up for a touchdown drive. The team continued on to score another touchdown midway through the fourth quarter. This game showed fans that the team is capable of making big plays.

The Eagles will face off against Fremont High School in the Homecoming game on Friday, November 2.
