Football Ends Season on High Note

The Eagles ended a turnaround season on a high note this Saturday, November 16. After a devastating season last year, Los Altos came out much stronger and more prepared this year, and concluded the season with a winning record both overall and in league.

Its final game against Cupertino started off with a scare, as the Eagles fell behind quickly. This, however, was the final chance for many Los Altos players to walk onto that field and represent their school. They refused to end their time at Los Altos on a bad note, so the Eagles stormed back and ended up dominating the game 44-20.

“It was bittersweet, but I am tremendously proud of every single one of my teammates for a great season and a great finish to our season,” senior quarterback Lambie Lanman said. “Everyone stepped up today and we played our football, fast and physical.”

Despite the victory, players are very sad that this was their final game playing together. The team hopes to keep the momentum going next season and come out even stronger.
