The Los Altos Eagles [5-0-1 (3-0)] crushed the Cupertino Pioneers [1-5-0 (0-2)] 48-21 in an afternoon game at Los Altos High School.

The Eagles stormed out to a 14-0 lead midway through the first quarter. Senior Edwin Zuniga then took two screen passes 50-yards for back to back touchdowns and a 28-0 lead.

They finished the half leading 35-7.

The Eagles let up a bit in the second half as more second-stringers entered the game.
