The boys varsity volleyball team defeated Santa Clara High School 3-0 in its second home game of the season today, March 25.
Los Altos was able to shut the Bruins down consistently in each set, winning 25-11, 25-11 and 25-17.
“I feel that we put up a hard block which stopped their best hitter,” senior Alex Blackburn said. “And once we put him down, we just rolled with the energy and kills.”
The team hopes to finish the rest of the season with wins and make it to the CCS playoffs. The Eagles’ next match is a home game against Eastside College Preparatory School this Friday, March 29.
