ASB Changes Dodgeball Format

Dodgeball lovers can rejoice because this year, there will be one more day of dodgeball. Rather than end the tournament on Wednesday, May 23, ASB has decided to extend dodgeball to Thursday, May 24.

In past years, teams have played in the quarterfinals, semifinals and finals all on Wednesday. The old policy, where teams played fifteen minutes of dodgeball in one day, led to lower quality dodgeball in the championship game.

ASB said that it changed the format because the championship games were becoming anticlimactic because the players’ arms were so tired.

In the new format, four quarterfinal games will be played on Wednesday, May 23. The final four, consolation and championship will all take place on Thursday.

Be sure to free up your lunch appointments on Thursday to see this year’s dodgeball champion crowned!
