AP Testing Begins
AP testing began on Monday, May 4 with the United States Government and Politics test.
Testing will continue for two weeks, until Friday, May 15. At least one test will be administered each morning at 7:30 a.m. and each afternoon at 12:30 p.m. until the end of testing.
Many of the AP tests are taking place in the library; however location depends on the number of students taking the test. Testing can potentially take over other classrooms on campus.
Students taking the AP tests must miss either period zero through four or five through seven as each test is during the school day and lasts around four hours.
The majority of students taking an AP test took the corresponding AP class and spent most of the year preparing for the test.
“It’s nice to get the first one out of the way because then you have the routine down and can be slightly less stressed for the ones left,” said junior Paige Logan, who took the French Language AP test Monday afternoon.
