Alex Siesel, Vice President

What are you hoping to bring to your position?

As ASB vice president I want to make ASB more open to the school so that they have an idea of what we’re doing. I’m qualified because I have ASB experience so I know how the position is run. I have diverse hobbies so I can connect with all types of students whether it be someone who loves math or someone who loves sports. I can also connect with the ASB class as well as people outside of the class.

Why were you attracted to the position?

I had a lot of fun this year during the food drive and I have lot of ideas about how we can expand it to make it not profitable, but bring in more funds for our community. Currently we are only really doing the food drive at Draeger’s and I want to expand to other local markets. I think we should have Color Run sign-ups begin in the fall so that we have all of the fall teams and all of the winter teams together when we get them to sign up instead of asking them to sign up spring semester when none of them are together and really there’s no way to contact them and keep them accountable.
