“The Collective” Street Team officially revealed itself as “The Unit” on Wednesday, April 7 over the morning announcements.
Street Team member junior Carolyn Yang announced that the Street Team here at the school calls itself The Unit. The Unit’s members, also announced, are seniors Karim Poonja and Sarah McGee, juniors Carolyn Yang and Lauren Bednarski, sophomores Chip Cantrell and Gonzalo Alcazar, and freshmen Megan Leak and Sam Lodestro.
Carolyn also stated that The Collective and ACTUALITY are present at the school in order to “create a greater good.”
Carolyn also said that The Collective is “inclusive” of the entire school. The Collective will reveal “Part Two” of its message at the Diversity Assembly on Friday, April 9.

I think the suspense was one of the things that people enjoyed from this campaign. If the reveal happened at the assembly and nobody knew about it, wouldn’t it spark more interest than if people were sitting there sayin to themselves “oh ya the collective is supposed to talk today about respect because i know their entire message and can disect exactly what theyve been working so hard on over the past months.”
