STAR results of the 2010 California Standards Tests [CST] show marked annual improvement among students in the MVLA school district. According to recently released statewide data, students in grades 9 through 11 at the school achieved scores higher than those from last year.
“For the 11th straight year, our students have improved on this important statewide assessment,” MVLA District Associate Superintendent Brigitte Sarraf said. “We are especially pleased with the encouraging results of our Hispanic students, and the overall trend in every subject area.”
Testing results, which were officially released by the California Department of Education on Monday, August 16 show student improvement and academic progress in every area assessed.
The California High School Exit Exam results are scheduled for release on Tuesday, August 24 and AYP and API will be reported on Monday, August 30.
