On Friday, December 18, the Facilities department began work on the bleachers for the football field. The existing bleachers on the visiting side will be transferred to the baseball field, while brand-new bleachers will be built to replace them. These new bleachers will be larger and taller so that the visiting audience can have a better view of the game.
“[In addition to adding height and space] on the main bleachers, we’re going to make them handicap accessible,” said Facilities Coordinator Mike Woodworth.
At the existing football bleachers, another press box will be built on the home side for photographers and videographers recording the game.
The school is working with Kramer Projects to complete the construction project, which Mr. Woodworth estimates will take another month to complete.
