Presidential candidate Mitt Romney won the Florida primary on Tuesday, January 31 with 46 percent of the vote. Newt Gingrich came in second with 32 percent, while Rick Santorum received 13 percent and Ron Paul received 7 percent.
Romney will receive all 50 delegates that were at stake, because Florida employs a winner-take-all system.
The previous race took place in South Carolina, where Gingrich won with 40 percent and Romney came in second with 38 percent.
While the results seemed to be close going into Florida, Romney quickly pulled ahead.
