From Tuesday, December 3 to Friday, December 6, ASB hosted their annual volleyball tournament in the large gym. Teams faced off against each other for the title of “Champion” — and the bragging rights associated with it — while fans and friends took the stands to watch and cheer.
“ It’s a satisfying feeling because you see all these people and all the hard work you put in,” ASB Tournament Commissioner junior Jeronimo Sepulveda Sagaseta said. “There’s a great atmosphere in the gym.”
For the winning team, The Anteaters, made up of seniors William O’Shaughnessy, Jay Easterday, Kai Winans, Dexter Hatfield, Dylan Kovarcik, and Rahil Janmohamed, the tournament was a comeback from last year when they lost in the finals. It gave them a full circle moment for their last year on campus.
“We just went out and gave it a hundred percent,” William said. “We came back this year and we won!”
