The performing arts department–orchestra, band, dance and choir–will be going to San Francisco tomorrow, November 7, to see the musical “The Lion King.” With the exception of last year, the department has gone annually.
“I’m very excited about going,” senior Alice Carli said. “I love going every year. It’s always awesome to see a professional show put on. It always leaves people feeling good about what we do in the music department because we see it in action at a professional level.”
The field trip is completely optional, but students are encouraged to go. They will leave during brunch.
“I really enjoy musicals,” senior Kamala Sloss said. “I am excited to get to go and hang out with friends.”
