Students and faculty will no longer be required to wear masks at Mountain View–Los Altos School District schools, effective Monday, March 14. 

The District announced today that, regardless of vaccination status, students will not be required to wear masks. This decision follows state and local guidelines, with California lifting its mandate beginning Saturday, March 12 in schools and childcare centers yesterday and the County following suit. The following Tuesday, March 15, is the first school day after the new rules go into effect.
