LAHS reopens for first day of hybrid instruction

After over a year of distance learning, Los Altos High School opened its doors for in-person students yesterday afternoon. This week, deemed a “transition” week, students who chose in-person learning will only attend classes on campus for half the day.
To maintain COVID-19 safety, classrooms are equipped with sanitation tools and protective shields for teachers and volunteer instructors. The administration also placed directional arrows throughout the campus to control the flow of people in halls and buildings. Desks are spaced 3 feet apart to ensure social distancing, and classrooms are required to have at least two open windows and an open door for proper ventilation.
