Mandarin students celebrate the Lunar New Year with custom signs.
Los Altos High School’s quad came alive with vibrant traditional festivities as the Mandarin classes and other clubs gathered to celebrate Lunar New Year last Friday, January 31. The event featured traditional games, calligraphy, food, and several live performances by the Korean Culture Club, Chinese Culture Club, Taiwanese Student Association, Asian American Student Union, English for Chinese Tutoring Club, Chamber Symphony Orchestra Club, and the Mandarin classes.
