The Los Altos High School Genetics Club hosted a genetics symposium in the Los Altos Community Center on Sunday, May 19. Attendees immersed themselves in the various fields of genetics through presentations given by researchers and professors. Speakers included genetic counselors, professors, researchers from Stanford, founders of genomics companies and executives from UCB, a global pharmaceutical company.
