Team “Balls” won today’s round robin game against “Ball of Duty” in a frenzied match that left the crowd on the edge of their seats. The match appeared hopeful for “Balls” in the first round due to failed attempts to catch the dodgeballs by “Ball of Duty,” but this was quickly turned around by several successful catches in a row. At a certain point in the match, it was five “Balls” players to one, freshman “Ball of Duty” player. However, the sole “Ball of Duty” player was able to successfully catch and throw out enough of the “Balls” team for “Ball of Duty” to take the victory. But despite a successful start to round two from “Ball of Duty,” “Balls” pulled through and was able to win round two. Round three moved back and forth quickly as both teams caught dodgeballs, allowing their teammates to join them back on the court while the opposing team was relegated to the sidelines. Ultimately, “Balls” won round three and will be moving on to the semifinals. “Ball of Duty” also advanced to the semifinals with their win over “Karasuno,” and will be joining “Balls” in the semifinals in a much awaited rematch.
