Friday, May 3, 17 Los Altos High School senior student-athletes were recognized for their commitments to playing varsity sports in college at Signing Day, held at lunch in the large gym. The Student-Athlete Leadership Team (SALT) made posters for each athlete with their name, sport and the school they committed to.
SALT members juniors Tyra Bogan and Axelle Allanic took turns individually announcing the athletes, while family and friends gathered to show their support, handing out flowers and chocolates.
