On Friday, October 24, the annual Homecoming Parade was held in Downtown Los Altos. In the parade were each class' float, each of the 10 Homecoming couples, fall sports teams and clubs at the school. Marching band, along with the dance and cheer teams also put on brief performances during the parade.

On Wednesday, October 22, the varsity girls volleyball team won its home match against Homestead High School. Though it was a tight game throughout, the Eagles ultimately won 3-2 in the closely contested five-set game.

On Tuesday, October 21, the school hosted its annual Homecoming Assembly on a double-assembly schedule. The assembly featured skit performances from groups of this year's Homecoming couples. The annual Homecoming Parade will take place in Downtown Los Altos later this week on Friday, October 24, at 1:30 p.m. The school's Homecoming Game and dance are on Saturday, October 25 at 1:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., respectively.
On Thursday, October 16, members of the interdisciplinary Skills and AVID teams hosted the school’s first ever “Skills Night”. Teachers held this Skills Night with the intention of reaching out to the families of the students in their assisted classes after the few parents attended the school-wide Back to School Night earlier in August. Over 100 people were in attendance for the event which included dinner, a round-robin information session on each skills class and environmental science classes available at the school and an AVID/college preparation presentation.
On October 16, the girls varsity volleyball team played against Palo Alto High School, the two team's second league encounter. Los Altos had a decisive victory, winning all three of its sets by large margins.
